These are off the chart, and you will be told so on the telephone rather than sold a visit: furnaces, boilers and heat pumps; air conditioning, air handlers and the condensing unit beside the house; the supply and return ducting that serves any of them; thermostats; water heaters; washers and dryers. Harbour Row Service is not a heating or air-conditioning contractor and does not hold itself out as one.
One line is worth drawing carefully, because the words overlap. The only duct we ever open is the one above a range hood, which carries cooking air out through the roof or the wall. It is not part of the system that cools the house, it does not connect to one, and a hood that has gone weak is a kitchen fault. If the air in the rest of the house is the problem, the right trade is an HVAC contractor, and we would rather point you at one than charge you $80 to find that out.

- No, and we will say so on the telephone rather than book a visit. This is a kitchen appliance shop: cooking, refrigeration, dishwashing, extraction and the outdoor kitchen. Furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, condensing units, thermostats and the supply and return ducting that serves them are an HVAC contractor's trade. The only duct we ever open is the range hood's own extraction run, which takes cooking air out through the wall or the roof and is not joined to the system that cools the house.
- Do you service outdoor kitchens?
- Yes. Built-in grills and outdoor refrigeration are a large share of the work on this coast, and they fail differently from indoor equipment because the salt film that forms overnight stays wet until the sun reaches it.
