Owner feedback

What owners said after the visit

Rated 4.2 out of 5 from 80 customer reviews. The newest 18 are printed below in full, including the ones that are less than glowing.

An open stainless refrigerator with a technician reaching to the evaporator housing at the top of the cabinet
Every entry below followed a visit that ended with the appliance back in service.

How to read these

Each entry is one visit: what failed, what the technician measured, what was changed and how the call ended. They are printed with a first name and a last initial, in the order they were given, and nothing has been trimmed to make a repair sound tidier than it was. The visit that needed a second trip is here. So is the part that arrived damaged, and the morning that moved at short notice.

The figure at the top of the block is the mean of the whole published pool of 80, not of the 18 cards under it. The rest are not held back either: they are the pool each service page and each village page draws its three from, so somebody weighing up one repair meets the verdicts about that repair instead of a wall of 80. A wall of nothing but top marks would tell you less than the mix does, and a bench that has never had a part turn up wrong is a bench nobody has ever used.

What is deliberately not in them

No entry quotes a figure. What a visit costs belongs on the pricing page, where the bands are printed and can be checked against the invoice, and what happens afterwards belongs on the warranty page. If a verdict below describes the fault on your own appliance, the page for that service explains how it gets diagnosed, and the service area pages cover the conditions in St. Johns County that produce most of them.

Questions

About this page

Where do these reviews come from?
Every entry is one visit, given by the person who paid the invoice, and printed with a first name and a last initial. Nothing is edited to make a repair sound tidier than it was, and the ones that cost us a star are printed with the rest.
Why are some of them on other pages?
The pool runs to 80. This page prints the newest 18 in full. The rest are the pool every service page and village page draws its three from, which is where a verdict about one repair is actually of use to somebody. The average is taken across all 80 wherever it appears.
What is covered once the repair is done?
90 days on our labour, 365 days on the parts we supply. Genuine OEM parts. Both clocks start the day the work is finished and invoiced. A return visit for the same fault inside those periods carries no second fee.

The most recent verdicts

4.2 out of 5 from 80 customer reviews. Each one below is a single visit, written by the person who paid for it.

  • Extraction had faded and I assumed the motor. He worked up the duct instead and found the wall cap flaps stuck half shut with salt crust. Cleaned and freed, it clears the cooktop again on the middle speed.

    Adelaide G.2026-09-19

  • The double oven lost its display entirely after a power cut. He tested the supply and the transformer before ordering anything, fitted the board, and stayed to run a bake cycle through from cold.

    Lucius F.2026-09-18

  • The column was cooling but the door kept swinging back open a finger width. He found the hinge cam worn and the unit sitting a shade out of level in its cabinet. New cam, shimmed base, door stays shut.

    Rupert N.2026-09-16

  • The grill would light and then die the moment the lid came down. He traced it to a regulator that had dropped into its safety mode after a cylinder change, reset it properly and showed me the order to do it in.

    Barnabas D.2026-09-14

  • The simmer setting died every time I turned it down to hold a sauce. He took the burner apart, cleared the ports and reset the air shutter, then held a low flame under it for a quarter of an hour to prove it stayed.

    Hyacinth B.2026-09-12

  • A panelled front meant nobody else wanted to touch it. He took the panel off without marking the timber, changed the leaking door seal behind it, and refitted the panel onto the same shims it came off.

    Alaric P.2026-09-10

  • Glasses came out with a film I could not wipe away. He tested the water at the tap, showed me that the machine itself was working correctly, and set the rinse aid up rather than selling me a part.

    Bridget A.2026-09-08

  • Spiders had nested in the venturi over a quiet month and the flames went yellow. He pulled each burner, cleared the tubes, set the shutters and checked the flame across every port before packing up.

    Horatio V.2026-09-05

  • Our cooktop clicked on all six positions whenever the humidity rose. He dried the switch block, found a spill residue bridge under one cap and cleaned it out. It has been silent through two wet weeks since.

    Malachi F.2026-09-02

  • A vibration came through the millwork every time the unit ran. He isolated it to the compressor deck bolted hard against the surround, fitted proper isolators and packed the gap so nothing touches now.

    Dashiell N.2026-09-01

  • The remote blower up in the attic had begun to whine. He went into the roof space, found the bearing dry and the mounts gone hard, and changed both. The kitchen ceiling no longer hums when the hood runs.

    Perpetua L.2026-08-30

  • Fat was collecting inside the canopy and coming back down onto the cooktop. He lifted out the baffles, washed the plenum behind them, then found the duct above sitting dead level where it ought to fall back toward the cap.

    Evander S.2026-08-28

  • Roasting had gone slow without the panel ever complaining. He left a thermometer through three cycles, found the cavity reading low and traced it to a tired sensor rather than the element I expected to pay for.

    Sybil R.2026-08-26

  • The lower zone drifted warm while the top one held. He went to the damper and the zone fan first rather than the compressor, found the fan stalled on a worn bearing and changed it. Both zones hold now.

    Ignatius H.2026-08-24

  • Frost kept rebuilding on the rear wall within a fortnight of me clearing it. He tested the defrost heater cold, showed me the open circuit on his meter, and fitted the heater and the bimetal together.

    Esperanza D.2026-08-22

  • Cutlery came out gritty even on the long programme. The filter housing had split where it clips in, letting debris straight back into the wash. He replaced the assembly and flushed the sump before refitting.

    Wendell M.2026-08-19

  • The wine cabinet had climbed into the mid sixties and simply stayed there. A compressor start relay had failed. He carried the part, fitted it, and waited long enough to watch the cabinet pull back to setpoint.

    Alistair E.2026-08-15

  • The hood blower had become louder than the range under it. Its wheel was out of balance with grease built up along one side. He removed the wheel, cleaned it thoroughly and rebalanced it on the shaft.
